Manner Sensortelemetrie has developed a plug-and-play solution for developers that measures the torque, the dynamic drive power, and the distribution to the half shafts. The system consists of a rotor antenna, sensor, sensor signal amplifier, and casing. It is only 4 mm high and is available as a self-assembly kit or as a fast service including application and calibration. To allow for the quick and easy integration of the system, it has a flexible stator loop which does not require precise positioning and can accommodate slight slippage and vibration when the car is in operation. The system also includes a function for the automatic adjustment of the shaft and stator antenna. An additional remote adjustment function enables the torque measurement range to be changed or corrected retrospectively.
