Abstract

The possibility of using impregnating compounds for maintenance of rubber elements of pneumatic suspension of road vehicles in different temperature conditions has been evaluated. Solidol, which is the cheapest general-purpose plastic grease, and the anaerobic material AN-1U (a more expensive grease) have been used as impregnating compounds. It is shown that the use of anaerobic compound when servicing rubber elements of the pneumatic suspension of road vehicles allows increasing their resistance to negative temperatures, minimizing material cracking and, consequently, increasing suspension durability.
