On the Results of Application of Correlation Analysis during the Investigation of the Structure and Properties of Butadiene–Styrene Thermoplastic Elastomers

Abstract

The aim of this work is to develop approaches to predicting of the properties of adhesive elastomeric materials based on butadiene–styrene thermoplastic elastomers (BSTPEs) according to the results of the studies of the structure of BSTPEs with the application of dynamic mechanical analysis. The strength of the relationship between the studied characteristics is evaluated using correlation analysis, which makes it possible to determine significant pair-correlation relationships between the structural indicators of BSTPEs and properties of adhesive compositions based on them by calculation of the Pearson correlation coefficients.
