The Theory Research of Tunnels Seismic Damage

Many highway tunnels were subjected to varying degrees of damage in the 5.12 earthquake. According to the damaged features of tunnels in earthquakes at home and abroad, the macroscopic damage of tunnels are summarized. On the base of the damage manifestation, the failure mechanism of tunnel damage is preliminarily analyzed. Comparison with the failure mode on the shaking table model test has been made, and some suggestion of paying more attentions on the weak links at the tunnel entrance, faults and shallow buried section for designers has been put forward.

Exploration of Training Mode of Urban Rail Professional in University

As China’s rapid development of urban rail transit industry, the demand for various types rail transit professionals shows a rising trend. According to experience in Urban Rail professional of Chong Qing JiaoTong University, the questionnaire of Urban Rail major teaching effect and knowledge demand in vehicle enterprise were designed); and analyzed the problems of current urban rail professional training mode; discussed how does the major of Urban Rail Transit to meet the demand of enterprise talents training mode under the existing education system. The new training mode achieves better results in the teaching test applications.

Research of Dynamic Adjustment Algorithm of Matching Rule Database of Network Intrusion Detection

Array sequence adjustment of matching rule database is key technology in network intrusion detection system, which influences real time detection performance of network intrusion detection system. This paper introduces one static adjustment and two dynamic adjustment algorithm, analyzes working principle, test performance of three adjustment algorithm through experiment. According experiment result, ensures applying range of different algorithm, provides useful reference of selecting adjustment algorithm for developing NIDS.

Research and Improvement of Pattern Matching Algorithm of Intrusion Detection

Pattern matching algorithm plays a key role in the network intrusion detection system, which directly influences real-time detection’s performance of the system. This paper introduces single and multiply pattern-matching algorithms, analyses their working principles, and tests performance of four pattern matching algorithms through an experiment. According to the experiment’s results, we obtain the applying range of different algorithms, which provide useful reference of selecting pattern matching algorithms for further developers of NIDS.

Study on the Application of Serial Communication Programming Technology in Embedded System

Embedded technology is widely used in many fields now. Serial communication is the main problem to solve for the developer in the development of interactive embedded systems. This paper describes the embedded Linux development environment for the establishment of an interactive process. QT-based serial port program design process has been analyzed. And the design process is provided. Programming with QT4.6.2 is tested successfully. Methods provided by this paper has some reference value for the common programming problems of embedded serial port communications for embedded systems research and development.

China-ASEAN and Guangxi Multiple-Regions Cooperative Low-Carbon Logistics Internet of Things Service System Hidden Markov Optimization Model

By analysis on the characteristic of low-carbon logistics, Internet of Things (IOT) Service System and economic zone, provides Multiple-Regions cooperative low-carbon logistics intelligent control optimization model. The low-carbon logistics IOT service system Hidden Markov optimization Model is in the IOT environment to use Hidden Markov Model algorithm to implement characteristic state transition monitoring on cross-region cooperative logistics process, based on network information aggregation, common distribution and cooperative control and other variations of IOT monitoring targets, determine prioritized state sequence by forward and backward algorithms as well as Viterbi algorithm, realize establishment of China-ASEAN and Guangxi Multiple-Regions cooperative low-carbon logistics optimization model and achieve intelligent control. Facts prove that on the premise of meeting IOT network variation state monitoring requirements, low-carbon logistics optimization model state selection identification rate could be improved.

The Design of Optical Fiber Displacement Sensor System

Introduced Fiber Optic Displacement measurement principle, Through setting the reference channel, useing of modulation and demodulation technology the system eliminates interference caused by changes in non-measured light intensity effectively. After data time-sharing acquisition, the SCM system will complete the function such as the identification and the difference between the measured signal computing, data processing, more limited display and alarm . The system’s measurement range 0 ~ 1.300mm, accuracy up to 1 %.

The Signal Processing of Quartz Resonator Based on Single Chip

A signal processing scheme based on single chip has been propounded according to Single-Base Three-Electrode structure of the quartz resonator. The microcontroller as the central control unit counts the frequency signals of three electrodes step by step: measuring difference frequency signals among three electrodes and then send them to make sum and frequency multiplication. The output is measured by the display circuit. The results show that the signal extraction approach is simplified and it reduces the influence of interference factors related to output so as to improve the force sensitive property of resonator.

Force-Frequency Sensitive Character of Quartz Resonator with Same Base and Different Electrode

Stress distribution of the thin circular quartz crystal has been analyzed by ANSYS finite element simulation when subjected to radial force. A quartz crystal resonator with same base and different electrode is designed according to the vibrancy theory of quartz crystal. When putting on the radial force, we research the force sensitive nature of this resonator and its relationship with the force azimuth. The results show that, It is closely to the resonator structure and the force position, that the force sensitive character of quartz resonator with same crystal and different position. Selecting the appropriate force position, we can receive greater diversity of force sensitivity. The output using difference frequency between the different resonators can suppress interference factors. Making the difference frequency signal as a superposition of complex processing can enhance this resonator overall force sensitive. With the difference frequency and signaling complex, the force - frequency conversion factor of this resonator is up to 500Hz/N.

Design and Study on Hardware Circuit of Agriculture Automatic Micro-irrigation Control System Based on Single Chip Model AT89S52

Taking single chip model AT89S52 as the core, the essay firstly makes an overall conceptual design to agriculture automatic micro-irrigation control system, then designs and studies the circuits that the principal hardware used in the conceptual design, such as soil moisture probe, A/D converter, optoelectronic isolator, etc. simultaneously designs that agriculture automatic micro-irrigation control system automatically gives an alarm and closes the electromagnetic valve to end the irrigation when water content in the soil reaches to the set values.

Study on the Assessment Scale of a Driver’s Risk Awareness in China

Driver error is the main cause of accidents, doing research into a driver’s risk awareness helps us to know the issues in regard to driving safety. Based on the review of related literature, an evaluation index system of a driver’s risk awareness with an appropriate scale was established. The index system contains three first class indices (risk attitude, risk behavior and risk perception) and together covers fourteen secondary indices (general attitude towards obeying rules, aggressive violations and awareness of safe driving, etc). There are three subscales which are Risk Attitude Scale (48 items), Risk Perception Scale (22 items) and Risk Behavior Scale (27 items). A survey was conducted in China, 240 drivers participated in this anonymous questionnaire survey. Based on the survey, the scale was revised by the T-testing, correlation testing, and scale reliability and validity testing. Exploratory factor analysis was used to examine the construct validity of scale. In addition, the survey results were statistically analyzed to verify the feasibility and efficiency of the scale.

Adaptive Predictor Gain Control of the Main Steam Temperature

Main steam temperature control system has a big delay in the control object, the accuracy and stability must follow the requirements. It is very difficult to get a good running result by PID control system. Smith predictor brings a link of predictive compensation at the basic of PID feedback control system, so it can perfect the big delay, and the controlled quality of the system can be greatly improved. The adaptive gain control system is developed at the basic of smith predictor control, it is able to overcome the instability of the control system model errors.

The Valve Electric Actuator’s Fault Diagnosis Method Based on Principle Component Analysis and Support Vector Machines

This paper, the mechanism of valve electric actuator failures is analyzed, and the fault diagnosis method based on principle component analysis (PCA) and support vector machines (SVM) is put forward. In order to reduce the dimension of feature signals, the fault diagnosis method uses PCA to extract fault feature signals. And a multi-class Support Vector Machine classifier is constructed to develop the model of failure diagnosis. The model can identify and detect the actuator’s constant gain fault, the constant deviation fault and the dead zone fault. The simulation experiment result verified its feasibility and validity.

Influence on Exciting Propeller Thrust Due to Interaction between Sail and Sail-Rudders

The main purpose of this paper is to verify whether sail-rudders cause exciting propeller thrust increase. Two submarine models, one has a sail, the other has both a sail and a pair of sail-rudders, are numerically simulated. Numerical computations of these models are executed based on realizable k-epsilon model. The results show that the model with sail-rudders has a less exciting propeller force at blade passing frequency. And sail-rudders could reduce exciting propeller forces of submarine.

Cloning and Sequence Analysis of Gene Encoding Plasma Membranes Intrinsic Protein of Stipa Grandis

Plasma membranes intrinsic proteins (PIPs), a member of aquaporins, mediate water transport in many plant species. In this study, the PCR primers were constructed to correspond to the second and fifth transmembrane domains of PIPs in Hordeum vulgare. Using RT-PCR, 5′ RACE and 3′ RACE, a full-length cDNA of PIP-Type aquaporin Gene was isolated from cDNA prepared from S. grandis, named SgPIP1. The analysis of the sequence shows that the SgPIP1 cDNA consists of 991 bp, which includes a 15 bp 5′ noncoding region, followed by 870 bp of open reading frame encoding 289 amino acids, and finally, a 106 bp 3′ noncoding region. The analysis of the amino acid sequence reveals that SgPIP1 contains the MIP family sequence SGXHXNPAVT, the PIP family signature sequence GGGANXXXXGY and TGI/TNPARSI/FGAAI/VI/VF/YN. SgPIP1 exhibits six predicted transmembrane helices and possesses two sets of conserved NPA motifs, which may be involved in the recognition and transport of water molecules across the water channel. As compared to PIPs from the other plant species, SgPIP1 should be a member of PIP1 subfamily.

Catalytic Ozonation of PA in Water in the Presence of Cerium Dioxide (CeO2)

Ozone is an excellent disinfectant and oxidant. Phthalate acid is a typical organic acid that with a good complex adsorption capacity. In this study, experiments were carried out to investigate the influence of adsorption to the catalytic ozonation. The removal of PA, the influence of tert-butanol and the ozonation mechanism during the catalytic zonation by Cerium Dioxide (CeO

2

) were discussed. The results indicated that the catalytic ozonation by cerium oxide could increase the removal of PA, and after adding the tert-butanol, the removal of PA did not reduce. As the surface Ce (IV) of CeO

2

was a strong Lewis acid, it was easily to absorb PA and ozone to form the intermediates, the adsorption of organic matter increased the reactivity. CeO

2

in the process of catalytic ozonation played the role of adsorbent and catalyst.

Preparation of Activated Carbon Loading Nano-ZnO and Desulfurization Properties under Room Temperature

In order to reduce the preparation cost of nano-ZnO desulfurizer, in this paper we used homogeneous precipitation method and mechanical hybrid method to prepare nano-ZnO and activated carbons loading nano-ZnO desulfurizer. Their desulfurization activity under room temperature was studied through dynamic tests and the preparation conditions were optimized. The results show that the diameter of the nano-ZnO particle was 13.3nm. When loaded on the surface of activated carbons, the nano-ZnO structure don’t change significantly. After the desulfurizer was modified by hydrochloric acid, the desulfurization of the activated carbons loading nano-ZnO was more effective than it modified by nitric acid. When the mixing time of nano-ZnO and activated carbons is 2h and the mass ratio of ZnO and C is 0.3, the breakthrough time of desulfurization is the longest, which can last 110min. Meanwhile, the activated carbons loaning nano-ZnO can achieve the most effective desulfurization activity.

Instantaneous Amplitude Spectrum Whitening for Deep Part Coal Resource Seismic Exploration

Exploration and development of the deep part coal resource have important strategic meanings for the safety of Chinese energy. However, seismic data of deep part coal suffering from the decline of resolution. To overcome this problem, we propose a method to improve resolution of seismic data by HHT and spectrum whitening with instantaneous amplitudes of seismic signals. Compared with conventional algorithm, our method enhances every point of a seismic signal according to its instantaneous amplitude. The application results of the real data show our method could broaden bandwidths of seismic data and make strata in deep part more distinct and continuous.

The Studies on the Distributons of Nutrient Structure during Spring and Summer in 2005 in Frequent Harmful Algal Bloom Occurrence Areas in East China Sea

Based on the data gained from three cruises in frequent Harmful Algae Bloom (HAB)occurrence areas in East China Sea during March and June, 2005, surface distributions of nutrient structures were analyzed. Results showed that in the prophase of diatom bloom, DIN/P and Si/P both showed descending trend from inshore to offshore area, but DIN/Si has a uniform distribution;When diatom bloom decayed and dinoflagellate bloom flourished, DIN/P, DIN/Si and Si/P showed a high level area in 28-30ºN. When dinoflagellate bloom decayed, DIN/P and Si/P showed an increasing trend from south to north,but DIN/Si showed decreasing trend from inshore to offshore area.Another result showed that lower DIN/P or higher concentration of PO

-P were propitious to the growth of diatom, while higher DIN/P or lower concentration of DIN were propitious to the growth of dinoflagellate. Lower DIN/Si or higher concentration of SiO

3

-Si will help diatom to gain an advantage over dinoflagellate in growth.

Jiyuan Oilfield Diagenetic Research of Chang 4 + 5 Reservoir

This paper researches the petrology features and the diagenesises of the Chang 4+5 reservoir of Jiyuan Oilfield based on the analysis and test of the rock debris and cores and based on the manufacture condition data. The results shows that the reservoir rock types are mainly made of arkose and next is arkose with rock debris nature. The reservoir rock goes through diagenesis like mechanical compaction, cementation and dissolution.

The Reservoir’s Sensitivity Evaluation and Protection Technology of WellTai 8

The group structures of Well Tai 8 area of Karamay groups is mainly Shou 17 wells and five Liangshang overthrust block southwest tilt fault nose structure, interior is more faults cutting, gentle structure, formation dip angle 3°~5°. The study area has development 6 reliable fracture, which are inverse fracture, fracture extension length 3km~16km, 10m~200m fault distance. The study area group of Karamay reservoir has been the lack of dynamic sensitivity test data, which had an effect on an adjustment of certain extent in water flooding development plan. This paper sets the reservoir characteristics in 3 area of kelamayi group, analyzes the influential factors of the reservoir sensitivity and the effect of comprehensive evaluation of stability picking out the best clay stabilizer, then formulates the corresponding reservoir protection measures.

Ecological Responses of Land Use/ Cover Changes in Metropolitan Area of Chongqing: 1997-2006

Land use/ cover changes directly or indirectly affected the function and structure of landscape ecological system; furthermore it influences the landscape processing in the surface of the earth. Metropolitan area of Chongqing was chosen as a study area. Based on the land use/ cover data in 1997 and 2006, the authors calculated the land use/ cover transform matrix, landscape pattern index and analyzed the features of land use/ cover and its ecological responses in the study area. The main landscape types are farmland and forest in the study area. The changes of landscape pattern showed an increasing landscape fragmentation process, increasing landscape diversity and irregularity of patch shape. The land use/ cover changes had caused distinct landscape ecological responses, such as environmental quality deterioration, edge effects intensification. So it is important to intensify the spatial relationships among landscape elements and to maintain the continuity of landscape ecological process and pattern with the urban expansion.

Susceptivity Appraisal of Soil Erosion in Three Gorges Region Based on Geographic Information System

This paper was to appraise susceptivity of soil erosion and identify its spatial distribution in Three Gorges region in Chongqing, Southwest China based on geographic information system (GIS). The data of rainfall erosivity, soil erodibility, topographic undulation and land use/land cover were used to appraise susceptivity with synthetical index model of soil erosion susceptivity and analyze its spatial distribution with ArcGIS9 software. The results showed that the susceptivity of soil erosion was severe in the mass and its spatial difference was obvious due to integrative effect of the rainstorms, soil erodibility, topography, and land use/land cover in Three Gorges region. The main susceptivity classes of soil erosion are marginally sensitive, moderately sensitive and highly sensitive levels and their areas are 18, 61 and 21 percent respectively in the study area. Those areas with high susceptivity distribute in mountains in northeast and southeast of Chongqing due to thin soil, steeper terrain, poor management, and sparse vegetation. High priority should be given for those highly sensitive areas to conserve soil resources by identifying susceptivity of soil erosion, planning and promoting land use/land cover, and optimizing management for maintaining and improving soil productivity and sustainable development of eco-environment in Three Gorges region.

Spatial and Temporal Variation of Relative Humidity of China in the Past Half Century

By analyzing the data of long-term monthly mean relative humidity of from January 1958 to December 2007 in China, it was found that the relative humidity in North Xinjiang is higher in winter while lower in summer. There was a belt humidity distribution pattern of northeast-southwest resulted from the sea-continent distribution and the precipitation of monsoon climate, especially in summer. The westerly is a factor that effects the belt pattern distribution of humidity due to the precipitation brought by it.

Study on Business Extension Strategy of a Distributor Considering Customer Risk

The intense competition among steel distributors with non-business extension strategy brings steel distributors the customer risk, which includes customer relationship risk and financial risk. How to gain cost advantage and value advantage of commodity steels, by the use of business extension strategy has been analyzed. By the application of Game Model, the impact of business strategy on payoff of the commodity steel distributor and the customer is given during the long-term cooperation. The research result shows that the business extension strategy of commodity steel distributors can effectively avoid customer risk.

The Impact of SCell Measurement Period on Mobility Performance in LTE-A with Carrier Aggregation

Carrier aggregation (CA) is one of the most distinct features for LTE-Advanced, which is being standardized in 3GPP as part of LTE Release 10. In this paper we study the performance of measurements for deactivated component carriers with the help of initial dynamic system simulations. The detailed simulation assumptions for the system level evaluations focusing on the measurements and the corresponding simulation results are listed. Based on these simulation results, the impact of different measurement intervals and measurement periods of SCell (the serving cell on the secondary carrier) on end-user and system mobility performance is analyzed. Edge Detection Methods for Gray-R Barcode Grade Rod

This paper present a novel approach to edge detection in Gray-R grade rod barcode. The median filter keeps the image’s edge nonlinear characteristics well. So it was applied to the image filtering. Mathematical morphology was applied to the edge detection of Gray-R barcode image, with a smooth and clear extracted edge and a consecutive image skeleton. Maximum between-class variance method as its independence of the light intensity was used in the image segmentation. Probability statistics subdivision method was adopted in the accurate positioning of the image edge due to its simple algorithm and high implementation efficiency and precision. Measurement experiments show that these methods suppress the noise interference of the edge signal effectively, and improve the accuracy.

In this paper, it studies two critical technical links of face detection and face recognition in the recognition of face, and conducts analyses and comparisons on some commonly used face detections and recognition algorithms. Through the collation of this information and the combination of related knowledge in the digital image processing, it proposes a face recognition algorithm based on the singular value decomposition. Assembly Model Retrieval Based on Optimal Matching

In this paper, an assembly model retrieval method based on optimal matching is presented in order to find the similar assembly model for design reuse and generation of manufacturing plans. First, shape features of components and connection relations of the components in assembly are extracted from assembly model; meanwhile assembly model is described as component attributed relational graph. Then, the compatibility matrix between two assemblies are calculated, which serve as the measure of their similarity. Finally, the optimal matching under the measures is calculated using Kuhn - Munkres algorithm. Experimental results show that this method is able to support the assembly model retrieval.

In this paper, the algorithm of face recognition technology is made a comprehensive study. Firstly studied the methods of face detection, facial feature of bottom-up approach, template matching method, the method of face appearance, and then focused on color-based face detection algorithm. Pig slaughter and processing is the key link of live pigs into pork. Pork slaughter and processing is one of the most important aspects of security. Discussed the behavior strategy between the slaughter & processing and pig breeders, study the product pricing and profit distribution between the two nodes in the revenue sharing contract; and illustrate the study conclusions by empirical case studies. The result show that the revenue sharing contract can coordinate the downstream of pig supply chain with slaughter and pig breeding enterprise, and give the pricing strategy and profit distribution ratio in different share ratio.

Screen of Streptomyces Hygroscopicus BOS-013 Strain and Identification of the Antifungal Antibiotic from Its Fermentation Broth

BOS-013 actinomycete strain was obtained by separating different kinds of soils from the nature. Moreover, the morphology, cultural characteristics, physiological-biochemical characteristics and 16S rDNA sequences of this strain were studied. A phylogenetic tree was constructed by comparing with the published 16S rDNA sequences of the related species and showed 99% identity of nucleotide sequence of 16S rDNA with Streptomyces hygroscopicus. The antifungal Biotic produced by Streptomyces Hygroscopicus BOS-013 was purified by means of macro-porous adsorbent resin, and the crystal of the antibiotic with high purity was got. In this paper, the methods of purification by adsorbing of microporous adsorbent resin and detection by high performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrum (HPLC-MS) were established. The study would be laid a good foundation for its physical-chemical properties. Meanwhile, we identified its structure by spectral analyses. The result appeared that the optimal eluant was 50% ethanol. The best developing agent in thin-layer chromatography was Petroleum ether: ethyl acetate (5:1, v / v). Quasi-molecular ion peak [M+H]+ was 547 given by positive ion mode-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry and pushed-out its molecular weight was 546. The acquisition scheme for the Sporadic Faint optical detection system is proposed based on analyzing the feature of target, double peak signal. The multi-frequency acquisition function is fulfilled by the core FPGA. The circuit design with AD679 and AD588 describes in the paper. The design’s performance is analyzed, and. The analysis of circuit module that is divided into dc and ac performance is presented. The analysis indicates that dc performance of the module is good that the demand can be achieved. This approach has been applied in some Sporadic Faint optical signal detection system successfully and should be served as the useful reference to the study of data acquisition technology in similar system.

The Application Study on the Improved Canny Algorithm for Edge Detection in Fundus Image

Edge detection is one of important contents in image procession. And Canny algorithm is the classic algorithm applied widely to the edge detection. Based on the defects of Canny edge detector, an improved Canny edge detector was presented to obtain thin and robust edge and implemented the algorithm in fundus image. Firstly, nonlinear diffusion filter was adopted to wipe of noise efficiently and kept the edge information of the image. Secondly, gradient calculation of pixel diagonal direction was considered in the calculation of neighborhood gradient amplitude which further repressed the impact of noise. Finally, by using average interclass variance, the self-adaptively double thresholds for different images were calculated. Aimed at the fundus image including noise, the experimental results show that the improved algorithm performs a better accuracy and precision than the classic Canny algorithm.

A Combined Svm Ensemble Algorihm Based on KICA and KFCM

In order to improve the generalization ability of svm,the training samples are disturbed using boosting algorithm, KICA is used to get reduct features sets that have stable and good generalization ability. The svm individuals of higher accuracy and difference are generated by samples disturbance and features disturbance. The best individuals are selected by generalization error of svm in the validate set based on KFCM.Finally, the selected individuals are ensembled by simple average.The experiments show that the our algorithm have higher generalization performance and lower complexity of time and space, it is an higher effective ensemble agorithm.

SVM Ensemble Based on Boosting and KFCM

SVM ensemble algorithm based on Boosting and KFCM is proposed to improve the generalization ability. First, boosting algorithm was used to get some svm individuals. And then best individuals were selected based on KFCM using generalization error of svm in the validate set, and selected best svms were ensembled using averaging. The experiments show that the algorithm have higher generalization performance and lower time and space complexity, it is a higher effect ensemble algorithm.

Matching of Laterally-Loaded Short Pile’s Performance with 3-Parameter Theory

Laterally-loaded short pile is widely used in civil engineering. But its analysis methods are not fit for engineering practice. In this paper, 3-parameter theory was used in short pile’s analysis and 3 sets of test piles’ data were matched. The matching results show that 3-parameter theory is fit for the analysis of short pile and the ragularity of the results’ variation is similar with long pile. So not only laterally-loaded long pile but also short pile can be well analyzed with 3-parameter theory.

Crude Oil Production Predictive Model Based on Support Vector Machine and Parameters Optimization Algorithm

In this paper we used three basic kernel functions of support vector machines to establish crude oil production prediction model from 2001 to 2010. We used K-fold cross-validation method, grid-search and Genetic Algorithm to optimize the penalty parameter c and the gamma value established in the support vector machine model. Grid-search algorithm optimized the parameter c to 16, Genetic Algorithm optimized the parameter c to 1.1038. We adopted the Genetic Algorithm method to optimize value c to the smaller value, and constructed SVM prediction model with the radial basis function kernel. The model enables the correlation coefficient between the true value and the prediction value in the prediction set is up 88%, the result is satisfactory.

Crude Oil Prices Predictive Model Based on Support Vector Machine and Particle Swarm Optimization

In this paper we applied the linear kernel function , polynomial kernel function and radial basis kernel function of support vector machine, used K-fold cross-validation method, utilized the particle swarm optimization(PSO) to reach the optimum of penalty parameter C and value of gamma, and therefore built the forecast model of the crude oil price from January 2009 to December 2010.The optimized value by PSO for penalty parameter C is 10, the prediction correlation coefficient for prediction set 1 by the SVM of radial basis kernel function is 95.211%, the results are satisfactory, and we can predict the crude oil price from January to June 2011 with this model.

JRE: A Visual Semantic Rule Management Tool

In the last few years, rules are increasingly being used for knowledge representation in ontology-based business rule systems on the Semantic Web. As the size of rule bases increases and there exist a great number of rules engines with its own rules language, users face the problem in understanding and managing the complexity of the knowledge represented by the rules. To address this problem, we have implemented a visual semantic rule management tool called JRE (Java Rule Editor). The main goals of this tool are: first, to help non-specialists to understand and edit the meaning of complex rules with rule visualization and, second, to make this development independent of rule engine products. Rules do not include its own rule engine implementations but acts as a broker to the preferred rule engine. In this way, business rules can be reused across different rule engines and through different projects in the company. The JRE is part of a project devoted to the definition of a new platform core for semantic logistics system.

The Application of the PSO Based Community Discovery Algorithm in Scientific Paper Management SNS Platform

The development of SNS provides a new platform and application prospect for the realization of Personalized Recommendation System. Research on Spectral Clustering Based on Latent Semantic Index

There is a problem that the text vector dimension is too high and the algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum problem in traditional text clustering. About this problem, this paper presents a spectral clustering method based on Latent Semantic Index (LSI), which uses the advantages of both. Not only analyzed the words and semantic relations between words, but also applies to any shape of the distribution of sample data clustering. Location and Recognition of Free Tables in Form

In this paper we propose a method to locate and recognize free tables in forms. The method is based on the OCR recognition results of forms. The keywords of results such as NO., PRICE and so on are used to locate the table header. We combine the information of header and projection of table to get the column and row separators. A Novel Hierarchical Clustering Scheme Based on Q-Criterion

The most important step in hierarchical clustering is to find a pair of clusters with the highest degree of similarity to merge. A widely used evolutionary tree reconstruction algorithm in computational biology, Neighbor joining, defined a similarity metrics based on Q-criterion. A great deal of empirical testing and theoretical studies have showed that the Q-criterion is linear in distances, permutation equivariant, consistent. Motivated by Neighbor joining, this paper proposes a Q-criterion based hierarchical clustering algorithm, named HACNJ. The main contribution of HACNJ is to firstly introduce the Q-criterion to clustering. The final experiment on Iris dataset verifies that HACNJ is effective.

Design and Research of Vehicle Image Processing in ETC System Based on PCNN Model

ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) system is used in tollgate of highway. ETC system can automatically complete toll transaction. And, ETC can effectively settle and improves lots of problem in current traffic system. ETC system contains RSU, OBU, road controller unit, collection management center, and other auxiliary unit [1]. PCNN (Pulse coupled neural network) is a principle which describes ocular neural cell activity of mammal visual cortex. And this principle is widely applied to image processing, voice recognition, fault diagnosis, pattern recognition, and decision optimization. Recently, ETC system just save vehicle image to data server. But, in ETC system, vehicle image processing is necessary, and is a key part. While, the time of vehicle image processing is limited. This paper describes a design of vehicle image processing based on PCNN model. Though the test in laboratory, the authors prove that PCNN can be effectively used in vehicle image processing.

Identification Number Recognition Based on Random Forests

The recognition of identification (ID) numbers in ID card is very important in real applications. In this paper, we obtain the region of interest by using the minimum cross-entropy in spatial domain and determine the type of ID card according to the position of face. ID numbers are separated into different characters by vertical projection, and the character patches are recognized based on Random Forests. The experimental results have shown that the proposed algorithm with low complexity in computation has a high accuracy rate in recognizing the first-generation ID card, the second-generation ID card and the driving ID card. Moreover, this algorithm is robust to the changes of illumination, rotation and image distortion.

GPS Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring Approach Based on Pseudorange Residual Message

Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) for Global Positioning System (GPS) is required for safety and liability critical applications such as aircraft nonprecision approach, river and harbour navigation real-time or kinematic surveying, etc. It is important to monitor the accuracy and precision of the navigation solution. While existing RAIM techniques, many algorithms require a high computational capacity. In this paper, a scheme for fault detect, which uses the pseudorange residual message, is presented. The pseudorange residual message for each satellite in the navigation solution is used to compute the sum of squares residuals as decision variables. The value of decision variables is compared to the thresholds that have been set to satisfy the integrity requirements, to decide whether or not the corresponding navigation measurement will have a fault solution. The validation and analysis based on the real GPS data show that the scheme facilitates real-time integrity monitoring of the accuracy of the navigation solution of GPS receiver. Meanwhile, the method is much more simple, convenient and practical for GPS receiver which includes the pseudorange residual message.

GPU Based 3D Chinese Painting Animation

In this paper, we presents our research on the technology of 3D Chinese painting animation which is made based on GPU through close observation and quantitative analysis to Chinese painting. Firstly, we adopt outline rendering and inside rendering algorithms to render the 3D model. Secondly, a single stroke rendering method is used to draw the subjects in the far. All the methods we introduced here are implemented on GPU. The results show that our works has a great practical effect on making Chinese painting styled 3D animation.

Research on Network Self-protection System Model and Its Security Event Correlation Engine

Manual analysis of security events inevitably results in a large number of attacks can not being detected timely. This paper presents a new network self-protection system model, gives its architecture and designs its information security event correlative analysis engine. In the correlation engine, the expectation maximization (EM) algorithm was designed to solve the problem by lack of security parameters. And the bucket elimination algorithm was used to enhance the computational efficiency of Bayesian network. The experimental results demonstrate that the reasoning speed of the correlation engine fulfills the need of network protection against unknown attacks.

Internationalization of ENQUETE-BAISE: A General-Purpose E-questionnaire Server for Ubiquitous Questionnaire

Ubiquitous questionnaire is to provide users with E-questionnaire services anytime and anywhere such that one can use E-questionnaire servers without even thinking about them. A general-purpose E-questionnaire server for ubiquitous questionnaire, named “ENQUETE-BAISE”, was proposed. It deals with not only E-questionnaire, but also E-voting and E-testing. On the other hand, the most intrinsic feature of ubiquitous questionnaire is to allow anyone to execute any kind of questionnaires anytime anywhere such that any respondent can answer questionnaires anytime anywhere. ENQUETE- BAISE should provide an environment that any user can do E-questionnaire, E-voting, or E-testing in his/her well-used locale. However, current ENQUETE-BAISE cannot provide such an environment. This paper proposes a mechanism to deal with internationalization of E-questionnaire, E-voting, and E-testing, and shows internationalization of ENQUETE- BAISE. The proposed mechanism is not ad-hoc such that it is independent of functional requirements of E-questionnaire, E-voting, and E-testing. Thus, we can use the mechanism continuously if ENQUETE-BAISE becomes more complex or more functional.

Development of a General-Purpose E-testing Server for Ubiquitous Test

Test is a general and indispensable method, and widely used to assess people’s achievement, ability, and char- acteristics in education, enterprise, medicine, and government. Clothing Rendering Based on Space Analytic Geometry and Garment Cutting Piece Technique

To meet the real-time demand of online fitting, the clothing rendering method based on garment cutting piece technique is introduced in this paper, which generates 3D garment models by using several pieces of Bezier curved surfaces. The key technique of this method is how to generate the garment curves according to the body data. Therefore, this paper proposes the spatial analytic geometry algorithm by which the positions of control points can be concluded. Further, the cutting piece can be simulated by fitting quadratic Bezier curves. The algorithm is efficient in terms of time consumption, and the experiments show that the virtual model realizes a significantly fast, high-performance, and realistic simulation of clothing which is especially suitable for online fitting.

Monodisperse large-size cross-linked P(GMA-St-EGDMA) microspheres were prepared by two-step swelling polymerization, P(GMA-St) microspheres as seeds. Effects of swelling conditions such as the kind and amount of swelling activation agent, temperature and EGDMA on the size and size distribution of the P(GMA-St-EGDMA) microspheres were investigated in detail. The morphology and properties were analyzed by optical microscopy, SEM and TGA. The results showed that monodisperse cross-linked P(GMA-St-EGDMA) micropheres with 14

A Quantitative Study of Microstructure Characteristics of Ionic Soil Stabilizer Reinforcing Red Clay

In order to improve the red clay’s undesirable physical properties, improve its strength and reduce deformation, use a new type of electrochemical reinforcement imported from Australia —Ionic Soil Stabilizer, to make reinforcement on the red clay in Wuhan and then microstructure and quantitative research of red clay was explored. First, ISS with different volume ratio of water and then adding different proportions of red clay ISS solution, the unconfined compressive strength test and scanning electron microscope analysis test. As it can be seen from the results that after ISS reinforces the red clay, unconfined compressive strength Obviously increases; the main types of microstructure change to be the aggregate structure, however, aggregate apparently turn to be bigger and correspondingly void volume decrease with a denser structure. On the base of fractal theory, the 3000-times SEM photographs were vectored by ARCGIS, and then quantitatively analyzes variation of soil pore.
