Zusammenfassung

Die Maximierung der Leistungsfähigkeit eines Unternehmens basiert, wie in der Einleitung zu diesem Teil beschrieben, zunächst auf der Identifizierung und Implementierung der strategischen Erfolgspotenziale des Unternehmens. Als strategisch werden diejenigen Managemententscheidungen bezeichnet, die sich mit den Prozessen der Entwicklung, Planung und Umsetzung langfristiger Ziele und grundlegender Aufgaben für das Familienunternehmen beschäftigen. Die Ausgangsbasis des betriebswirtschaftlichen Handelns in einem Familienunternehmen stellt somit (aufbauend auf den Wert- und Zielsystemen der Familie) die Wahl eines Geschäftsmodells und vor allem dessen Umsetzung in einer geeigneten Strategie dar.
