Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag geht es um eine Beratung mit den Mitarbeitern in einem Flüchtlingsheim in einer deutschen Großstadt. Die Mitarbeiter bringen eine hohe Vulnerabilität in die Arbeit ein, den Wunsch zu retten, u. a. vor dem Hintergrund ihres eigenen Migrationshintergrundes. Dies und die Emotionen, die durch die Traumata der Flüchtlinge und ihre Situation im Schwebezustand evoziert werden, führen zu einer traumatisierten Organisation, in der die Fähigkeit zu denken beeinträchtigt ist. Abwehrmechanismen wie Spaltung und Sündenbocksuche werden aktiviert, um sich gegen Vernichtungsangst zu wehren. Die Fragmentierung wurde u. a. offensichtlich in der Schwierigkeit, eine Aufgabe für die Beratung zu definieren. Die Beratung diente dazu, die Toxizität etwas zu reduzieren, aber wegen der zugrundeliegenden Dynamik in der Organisation wird dies kaum nachhaltig sein können.

Die theoretische Grundlage der Tavistock-Tradition basiert auf Bions Forschungen und Erkenntnissen zu gruppendynamischen Prozessen und Rice’s sozioökonomischen Studien. Bion ist in der Objektbeziehungstheorie verwurzelt.
