Abstract

The article delves into the critical investigation and development of technological parameters for the vacuum melting of corrosion-resistant refractory nickel alloys, essential for gas turbine plants. It highlights the importance of high-temperature corrosion resistance in turbine blades and the challenges posed by impurities in low-quality fuels. The study focuses on the development of new alloys with high chromium content and the optimization of vacuum induction furnaces for melting. The authors discuss the role of thermal-time treatment (TTT) in refining melts and the impact of crucible inclination on nitrogen removal. The research also includes the development of quality control procedures and the analysis of alloy chemical compositions. The findings offer valuable insights into producing high-quality refractory alloys with low impurity levels, crucial for enhancing the reliability and efficiency of gas turbines.
