Abstract

The article introduces a sophisticated fault diagnosis method for single-phase H-bridge inverters using RS-GA-BN, addressing the challenges of short-circuit faults in frequency converters. It combines rough set theory and genetic algorithms to reduce fault attributes and optimize Bayesian network models, enabling rapid and accurate fault diagnosis. The method is validated through comprehensive experiments and simulations, demonstrating its effectiveness in reducing fault attributes from 34 to 6 dimensions and accurately diagnosing both single-switch and double-switch faults. The article also highlights the importance of predicting fault trends based on fault severity, making it a valuable resource for professionals in the field.
