Questions about eMagazines
If you have questions about eMagazines, we have put together answers here to some of the questions that are most frequently asked.
1. I already subscribe to a magazine
1.1 How do I access the eMagazine?
The eMagazine website is www.emag.springerprofessional.de. Here you can see all the magazines that have equivalent eMagazines.
If you don’t yet have access, you can register at https://www.springerprofessional.de/en/register. Enter your customer details and your e-mail address on this page. The customer details must be the same as those for your magazine subscription in order for the activation process to work. You will then receive an e-mail with a confirmation link which you should click on within 24 hours. This completes your registration and gives you access to your eMagazine.
1.3 How do I access the PDF archive for the magazine?
You access the PDF archive via https://www.springerprofessional.de/en (see question 3.2.).
In the table below there are direct links to the PDF archive for your magazine.
1.4. I’ve just taken out a trial subscription, including the PDF archive and the eMagazine. How do I access everything?
(See questions 1.1. and 1.2.)
You access everything in the same way as a magazine subscriber, but you can only do so for 30 days.
1.5. I’ve completed my registration, but I don’t have online access.
Please contact customer service. Our customer service team will give you access to the PDF archive and the eMagazine.
1.6. I’ve logged in, but I am still being asked for a licence key.
As a subscriber, you are entitled to use the service yourself or you can identify another person who is entitled to use it. A multi-user licence (licence key) allows several people to use the online service. As a customer, you can have the same number of authorised users as you have licences. Complete our contact form if you have questions about multi-user licences for companies or would like a quotation.
1.7. I am registered, but I don’t have access, because I placed my order using a different e-mail address and so the contact details in my subscription are different.
Please contact customer service. Our customer service team will update the e-mail address listed under your customer number.
1.8. How can I download a complete issue of an eMagazine (not just individual articles)?
On the eMagazine website, you can access all the available issues. Click on the issue you want and the eMagazine will open. In the menu bar at the top, click on the download symbol to download the issue.
2. I am a magazine subscriber and I already use the PDF archive for my magazine on Springer Professional
2.1. How do I access the eMagazine?

3. I am a Springer Professional customer
3.1. How do I access the eMagazines?
To access the eMagazines, you must log in at https://www.springerprofessional.de/en using your Springer Professional account details.
You will find information about direct links to your eMagazines under question 1.1.
3.2. How do I access the PDF archives?
As a Springer Professional customer, you already have access to all the magazines in your field (business, technology or business + technology) via www.springerprofessional.de.
Click on the “My Profile” in the top right-hand corner to see an overview of your details, subscriptions, newsletter and areas of interest. Click on the “My Dashboard” button to see your books and magazines.
4. My company already has a subscription to an eMagazine.
The content is of interest to other employees of the company. We would like to give a selected group of employees access to the eMagazine. What are the discount scales for group licences? What are the terms and conditions for using the service and for the subscription?
You can either buy a group licence (Springer Fachmedien will authorise a group of users from your company) or access the content using individual licences (Springer Fachmedien will set up individual subscriptions for your employees).
- You identify the users who you want to have access to the eMagazine and inform Springer Fachmedien.
- You send the employees’ e-mail addresses to Springer Fachmedien and the individual licences will be set up.
- Your employees register using their e-mail addresses and we give them access.
- A collective invoice will be sent annually in advance to the invoice address you specify.
- The size of the user group is based on the number of licences you buy.
- Springer Fachmedien will generate a licence key to give your group of users access to the eMagazine.
- Your employees register and, after entering the licence key once, they will have permanent access to the magazine content at any time.
We give significant discounts on both types of licences. If you buy more than two licences, you will get a discount. For more than 50 licences, the discount is 30 percent, for example. We will be happy to send you a specific quotation.
