The Ferrari BR20 has been designed by Ferrari designers in response to a customer request and his specifications. The basis for the two-seater V12 coupe is provided by the platform of the GTC4Lusso.

Ferrari’s special projects program is always designing one-offs based on customer requests. The Ferrari BR20 represents the latest member of the Cavallino Rampante’s one-off series. According to the manufacturer, the long-time customer was involved in every step of the development. The sports car’s design is said to reference Ferrari coupes of the 1950s and 60s, and it does so without retro elements. Compared with the platform-donor GTC4Lusso, the now shorter headlights sit lower, and the radiator grille features horizontal slats. The rear seats have been removed and the rear overhang lengthened by 3 cm to achieve a more elongated line instead of the previously steeply sloping rear. Towards the rear, the curved silhouette now features an aerodynamic channel. The 20" rims are also custom made.

In addition to the body design, the design team headed by Flavio Manzoni has primarily reworked the interior of the V12 front-engine sports car, which is now lined with leather in two shades of brown and carbon fiber elements. The seats are covered in dark brown Heritage Testa di Moro leather and feature an exclusive pattern at the front and silver cross-stitch trim. The door handles as well as the rear seat and luggage rack have been finished with oak trim with carbon fiber inserts.
