Abstract

The conclusion summarizes that this book advocates that an increased understanding of the influence of the placement of incidents and issues within the overarching national identity discourses, such as in this case the Canadian myth of the Arctic, help facilitate more fruitful international negotiations about disputes and broader collaborative issues.
