Abstract

A new approach to predicting changes in the technical state of machine components made of polymeric composite materials allowing their resource to be determined taking into account the interconnected wearing and aging processes, was considered. Criteria of the limit state used for predicting of the change in the technical state of machine components made of metal and polymeric materials were considered. The influence of the parts of some components of the composite (filler and matrix) on the service properties was evident from parts of tribotechnical use made of polymeric composite materials.
