MIPS — Ein integraler Baustein eines Fertigungs-, Informations- und Planungssystems

Every fortnight the production of transformers has to be scheduled in detail with economic batch quantities for each product according to the demands of a planning period of eleven up to 52 weeks. To minimize stock costs and change-over costs in ballance with a high machine loading a mixed-integer model has been set up and is working for seven productgroups with about 110 different articles. The model and the implementation of MIPS is discussed. It is intended to describe the system at full lenght in an other publication.
