In diesem Kapitel werde ich die CCT von Savickas (2019b, 2020) im Detail vorstellen. Savickas hat die CCT als theoretischen Rahmen innerhalb des Life Design Paradigmas konzipiert. Die CCT kann aber auch als narrativer Ansatz bezeichnet werden, der die beiden anderen Paradigmen wirksamer Beratung (lebenslanges Lernen und Passung) integriert. Grundpfeiler stellen die erkenntnistheoretische Perspektive des sozialen Konstruktionismus und die Welthypothese des Kontextualismus nach Pepper (1942, 1972) im Kontext von Arbeiten 4.0 dar. Zusätzlich unterscheidet die CCT zwischen einem metatheoretischen Inhaltsmodell (Welche beschreibenden Inhalte sind für die Selbst- und Identitätskonstruktion relevant?) und einem metatheoretischen Prozessmodell (Welche erklärenden Prozesse sind für die Selbst- und Identitätskonstruktion relevant?). Die Differenzierung zwischen den beschreibenden Inhalten und erklärenden Prozessen unterstreicht die psychologische Fundierung der CCT.

Gemäß Savickas (persönliche Kommunikation, 15. Dezember 2021) führt die unsicher-ambivalente Bindung zur Beta-Disposition (gelb markiert in Abb. 3.3) und die unsicher-vermeidende Bindung zur Gamma-Disposition (violett markiert in Abb. 3.3). In Savickas (2019b, S. 20) ist die Zuordnung falsch abgebildet.

Bei der normativen Strategie der Identitätsentwicklung unterscheidet Savickas (2020) in Abhängigkeit der Dynamik innerhalb der Familie zwischen 2 unterschiedlichen Mustern der Laufbahnkonstruktion. Eine normative Strategie in Verbindung mit unsicher-ambivalenten Beziehungen in der Familie führt in der Regel zum beschriebenen übernommenen Identitätsstatus. Eine normative Strategie in Verbindung mit „gesunden“ Familienbeziehungen geht in der Regel einher mit einem Muster, bei dem das kollektive Wohl der Familie als relevantes Kriterium für eine Laufbahnentscheidung zwar einbezogen, von der Person aber frei gewählt wird.
