Über dieses Buch

This book presents methods and algorithms to improve noise immunity of the navigation systems of civil aviation aircraft, operating on the basis of satellite radio navigation systems, as well as improving the quality of the transmission of navigation information by selecting a rational communication resource. The book provides for its productive perception both by specialists involved in the development and operation of radio electronic equipment, responsible for navigation and communication support of civil aviation aircraft, as well as by graduate students or senior students, since this book examines in detail the promising fields of development of these tools taking into account the need to comply with all requirements for noise immunity.

Chapter 1. Analysis of the Problem of Ensuring the Noise Stability of the Civil Aircraft Navigation Systems
Abstract
It should be noted that, despite all the advantages of using satellite-based radio navigation systems (SRNS) for the problem of navigational sighting of civil aircraft, there are so-called unstable navigation zones in the satellite navigation field.
Dmitry Alexandrovich Zatuchny, Ruslan Nikolaevich Akinshin, Nina Ivanovna Romancheva, Igor Viktorovich Avtin, Yury Grigorievich Shatrakov
Chapter 2. Mathematical Models of Information Security in Civil Aircraft Flight-Navigation and Computing Systems
Abstract
The problem of ensuring the necessary level of information security under the conditions of an ever-expanding list of threats, means, and methods for their implementation is very complex, requiring for its solution not just the implementation of a certain set of scientific, R&D, technical and organizational measures but also the use of specific tools and methods of data security to create their entire system. At the same time, ensuring the information security in modern FNSs and computing systems (CS) shall be not a one-time action, but a continuous process purposefully carried out throughout the creation and operation of the system with the complex application of all available tools, methods, and measures.
Dmitry Alexandrovich Zatuchny, Ruslan Nikolaevich Akinshin, Nina Ivanovna Romancheva, Igor Viktorovich Avtin, Yury Grigorievich Shatrakov
Chapter 3. Methods to Improve the Noise Immunity of Civil Aircraft Navigation Systems Using Satellite Radio Navigation Systems
Abstract
Requirements that are determined by the use of the SRNS for calculating aircraft coordinates are considered necessary to ensure the operability of aircraft navigation systems.
Dmitry Alexandrovich Zatuchny, Ruslan Nikolaevich Akinshin, Nina Ivanovna Romancheva, Igor Viktorovich Avtin, Yury Grigorievich Shatrakov
Chapter 4. Quality Enhancement of Data Transmission via Civil Aircraft Communication Systems by Proper Use of Communication Resources
Abstract
In accordance with the principle of guaranteed sufficiency, a rational demand for communication resources to support aircraft flights shall be determined. This demand is determined, on the one hand, by the intensity of air traffic and the jamming environment, and, on the other hand, by the intensity of data transmission determined by the accepted service procedure and the current flight environment.
Dmitry Alexandrovich Zatuchny, Ruslan Nikolaevich Akinshin, Nina Ivanovna Romancheva, Igor Viktorovich Avtin, Yury Grigorievich Shatrakov
Chapter 5. Increase of Noise Immunity of Navigation and Communication Systems of Civil Aircraft During Flights in Mountainous and Urban Areas
Abstract
Since the data line from the aircraft operates within the line of sight, the errors associated with the signal propagation medium generally occur at the unfavorable terrain.
