The inherent hybrid nature of automotive powertrain and transmission system is characterized by the continuity of powertrain system and the discrete of transmission system, and the optimization for the system under the hybrid framework can obtain a better control performance. In this note, a hybrid model describing the automotive powertrain and transmission system is established firstly, and then the associated optimization problem is formulated. To speed up the solving process, the simultaneous method is adopted. The simulation result verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
