The object tracking in video sequences is required in high level applications such as video communication and compression, object recognition, robotic technology etc. However; such systems are challenged by occlusions caused by interactions of multiple objects. A visual tracking system must track objects which are partially or even fully occluded. The proposed system uses a robust object tracking algorithm to handle partial and full occlusions. Occlusion handling is based on the concept of patch based framework to identify the parts which are going to occlusion. An adaptive Gaussian Mixture Model is used to extract the visual moving objects and then the noise removal steps are performed. This paper describes a bounding box system for tracking the moving objects. The main objective of the proposed system is to track the human objects and detect occlusion by a patch concept during tracking.
