Abstract

In truth, it’s a puzzling time. On the one hand, the body drags the spirit down (irregular heart, bad ears, plus general aches and pains of age); on the other hand, the spirit, hearing the call to help mend the ailing world, lifts the body into action. The mind watches and wonders. And so body, spirit, and I are holding a constant trialogue, from which I am gradually learning a new rhythm, which answers the needs of all three. But it’s not easy for someone who used to have a high energy level to learn that new rhythm!
