Abstract

Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) constitute a promising technology for the treatment of wastewaters containing non-easily removable organic compounds. This chapter presents the case studies highlighting the application of advanced oxidation processes for wastewater treatment using the nanocatalysts, perovskite type catalysts or green catalysts. Some of the related studies in literature are summarized by providing the operating conditions and discussing the results gained.
