We present a three level Cognitive architecture for the simulation of human behaviour based on Stanovich’s tripartite framework (2010), which provides an explanation of how reflective and adaptive human behaviour emerges from the interaction of three distinct cognitive levels. The architecture is a symbolic dynamical system implemented in a multiagent system. We describe our methodology and a first validation: a classical and semantic Stroop task simulation.
