Abstract

The field of structural health monitoring is an area of great interest, especially in Italy, in the light of recent tragic earthquakes that have struck. This has resulted in an increased attention to the WSN research in view of the possible deployment of networks for structural monitoring of individual buildings or entire areas of interest. Generally this technology is still characterized by lack of standardization with different architectural and technological solution coexisting in the same building. For this reason it would be of great interest to collect, harmonize and use data from different types of monitoring networks. ENEA with consortium T.R.E. in the Provaci project is involved in the development of an architecture for the fusion of data from WSN for SHM, based on different platforms and technologies.
