Abstract

The waveform sorting is an important part of MIMO radar countermeasures reconnaissance system which has better performance than the traditional radar system in many aspects. For the problem of sorting waveform at MIMO radar receiver, it is studied that waveforms in different channel can be separated effectively by using the method of matched filter. It is designed MIMO radar signals with orthogonal phase coding which has with good related features to conduct waveform sorting simulation experiment. The simulation results show that the sorting accuracy of Matched Filter algorithm is superior to the traditional sorting algorithms if the signal to noise ratio is less than 5 dB. By this algorithm, waveforms can clearly be sorted out of different channel. It is not sensitive to the noise and still has a good separation effect under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio, the pulse jitter has no effect on the sorting algorithm. It has better applicability.
