Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the modern paradigm of information science and the main scientific approaches to the definition of information. The need for a transition to a new paradigm that would reflect the energy nature of information processes and their systemic features is substantiated. The physical meaning of the phenomenon of information and the key role of the observer as a subject of the interactive information process are described. The basic postulates of the new information science paradigm are formulated.
