Abstract

The concepts of blockchain were introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto, a simple digital platform for recording and verifying the transactions as per the requirements. The reason why the blockchain has gained so much admiration is that blockchain is a single entity, and it does not own the data stored inside it. The blockchain data is hashed cryptographically, and henceforth, it is immutable, so no one can alter the data that is inside the blockchain. Moreover, the blockchain is translucent so one can track the data easily. This concise survey describes Blockchain on its use cases and its applications over the recent world today. As blockchain is an emerging technology, the concepts behind it are easily understandable for those who work on it. This paper reviewed blockchain with its applications to provide a comprehensive analysis for the academic research community.
