The use of digital technologies in our (to borrow from Nietzsche) “Human, all too Human” existence deserves urgent treatment—because of its speed, scale, and pervasiveness. Among philosophers who readily come to mind include virtue ethicists promoting technomoral virtues (Vallor 2016), as well as the application of principlism towards ethical technology use (Mittelstadt et al. 2016; Morley et al. 2020).
