Abstract
The smallest units into which the population can be divided are called the elements of the population, and groups of these elements are called clusters. A cluster may be a class of students or cultivator fields in a village. When a sampling unit is a cluster, the procedure of sampling is called cluster sampling. Cluster sampling is a sampling technique in which the entire population of interest is divided into clusters, and a sample of these clusters is selected by the SRSWOR technique.
