Database Connection Pool has been widely used in database applications, because it not only can efficiently manage the database connections, but also can improve the system performance. When database structure is a cluster, load balancing always should be considered. However, the traditional connection pool statically manages the connections that have already established. It cannot make adjustment according to the changes of environment, which may lead to load imbalance or even overload. To solve this problem, we propose a dynamic-feedback-based connection pool framework which can distribution the workload according to real-time system resource usage of nodes in cluster, and also can achieve the overload prevention. Experiment evaluation has demonstrated the feasibility and effect of this framework.
