Zusammenfassung

Die Arbeit wird in sieben Abschnitte gegliedert. Im Kapitel 1 werden Untersuchungsgegenstand und Fragestellung ausführlich beschrieben. Nach diesem einleitenden Kapitel werden im Kapitel 2 Theorieansatz und Forschungsmethode vorgestellt. Im Zentrum dieser Arbeit (Kapitel 3-6) werden die Wahrnehmungen der südafrikanischen Eliten gegenüber China unter den vier Aspekte Chinas wirtschaftliche Aktivitäten, Chinas globale politische Strategien, Chinas Modell und Kultur und Media präsentiert. Schließlich werden im Kapitel 7 die Wahrnehmungen der südafrikanischen Eliten gegenüber China zusammenfasst.
