Electronic Mind Maps as a Method for Creation of Multidimensional Didactic Tools

Abstract

The article addresses the issue of tool support for teacher activity and learning activity of students. Synthesis of the technology of multidimensional didactic tools (hereafter MDT) and the smart technology for creation of electronic mind maps is suggested for presentation and analysis of the content and structure of educational material. Multidimensional didactic tools are universal logical and semantic models for the presentation and analysis of knowledge in a natural language possessing the properties of multi-dimensionality, fractality and solarity (have a radial and ray structure). Electronic mind maps provide technological and substantial flexibility in the development and use of MDT. Synthesis of technologies makes it possible to create verbal and image models for presentation of the educational material at various structural levels - from a separate element of knowledge to interdisciplinary links. Multidimensional didactic tools serve as a systemic orientation basis in the course of studying educational material and enable students to control knowledge quality and manage the development of their own knowledge. The synthesis of technologies is demonstrated using structuring and presentation of the content of the academic discipline “Testology”.
