Since recent years, the profile of functional requirements of ICs has been significantly changing. The ICs are no longer meant to be applied for dedicated functions only but they are designed to address several comprehensive tasks at once. This leads to complex SoC designs including several nested modules and, thus, to a large transistor count.

Such a seamless integration has been exemplarily realized by implementing certain input-filters to process STIL formatted data from the TCL environment directly.

These lengths are assumed due to hardware restriction; however, the technique is applicable for further lengths in principle.

A line of the matrix is assumed as an entry of the dictionary. The codewords are interpreted as CDWs and the datawords as UDWs.

Note that the actual implementation applies certain merge operation to avoid redundant multiplexer structures.
