We consider a repair station where arriving customers deliver failed items to the station and then join an external customer queue in order of their arrival. The items are assumed to be exchangeable, i.e., customers accept any repaired item which is given to them. An item leaving the repair station is given to the customer at the head of the customer queue who then immediately departs from the queue.
