Abstract

This is an analysis of problems in the metrological support of measurements of the density of liquefied hydrocarbons and a broad fraction of light hydrocarbons owing to the absence of traceability of measurement results to the national primary standard GET 18-2000 for the unit of density. A new method for transfer of the unit from this standard to subordinate means of measuring density and to state certified standards is discussed.
