The objective of this study was to characterize growth and differentiation of human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal cells and trabecular bone-derived cells regarding their expansion and their multipotential capacity as well as their ability, to eventually form bone tissue in vitro in combination with a PLGA/CaP scaffold.
