Food health is recognized as one of the development indices, and to date plentiful efforts have been made to improve the food quality. Also, an essential stage of the post-harvest process is a quality assessment of agricultural products. The Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database (FAOSTAT) reported a consumption (except Northern America) of more than 3 million tones of pesticide in 2014 [1]. Therefore, there has been a growing concern about food health due to the overuse of chemical pesticides in agriculture, recently. Although pest control is vital to ensure a suitable yield, pesticides result in poisoning. Insects and other pests damage fruits and vegetables, and to reduce product damages, pesticides have been used for the reduction of injury and vegetable conservation. Nevertheless, the overuse of chemical pesticides has disadvantages and causes crop pollution that needs instant attention [2]. More than 26 million human pesticide poisoning per year have been reported worldwide [3]. …
