We consider the inverse boundary value problem of determining the coefficient γ in the elliptic equation div(γ grad u) =0 in Ω, when all possible pairs of Dirichlet and Neumann data on ∂Ω are known. We dicuss the problem of continuous dependence of γ on the data, we state a Theorem, obtained in [2], which gives sufficient conditions under which such continuity holds, and we sketch a new simplified proof.
