A study on refractive index dispersion and optoelectronic parameters of the BCzVB OLED material by using solution method

Abstract

Effects of molarities on optical and sensing characteristics of the 1,4-bis[2-(3-N-ethylcarbazoryl)-vinyl]benzene (BCzVB) organic light-emitting material (OLEM) have been studied by using solution method. Optical and sensing parameters of the BCzVB were determined. We obtained the single oscillator model parameters and the Clausius–Mossotti local-field polarizability model parameters of the BCzVB. We compared the optical and electrical conductance of the BCzVB material. We controlled optoelectronic parameters. It has been concluded that investigating optical and sensing properties of the BCzVB plays a vital role in developing/understanding next generation OLEMs devices and in opening up practical applications areas.
