Capability maturity model (CMM) has been widely used by a range of enterprises worldwide, and many of them have already attained the highest maturity level. Even for the organizations at the highest maturity level, capabilities regarding flexibility and agility in business are not well articulated. Flexibility is treated as a wider concept encompassing agility that treats the concerns of both choice and speed.
