This paper describes the architecture and core ideas of the multi-agent system created by the LTI-USP team which participated in the 2012 edition of the Multi-Agent Programming Contest (MAPC 2012). This is the second year of the Agents on Mars scenario, in which the competitors must design a team of agents to find and occupy the best zones of a weighted graph. The team was developed using the
JaCaMo
[1] multi-agent framework and the main strategy was to divide the agents into three subgroups: two in charge of occupying the best zones in the map, and the other one in charge of sabotaging the opponents.
