Zusammenfassung

Naturinspirierte Rechenverfahren (NIC) für computergestützte Optimierungsalgorithmen sind ein aufkommender Ansatz, der auf den Prinzipien und der Inspiration der biologischen Entwicklung der Natur basiert, um neue und starke Wettbewerbstaktiken zu entwickeln. Angesichts des Erfolgs von NIC-Ansätzen und -Techniken in Anwendungen zur Analyse großer Datenmengen wird erwartet, dass sie auch effektiv im Gesundheitswesen eingesetzt werden können. Die Anwendung von NIC im Management der laufenden COVID-19-Pandemie ist ein nützliches Werkzeug, das möglicherweise weitgehend in klinischen und öffentlichen Gesundheitsentscheidungen eingesetzt wird. Jüngste Entwicklungen in der künstlichen Intelligenz, dem maschinellen Lernen und bioinspirierten Optimierungsalgorithmen haben die Relevanz der Forschung zur Verarbeitung von biomedizinischen Signalen und Bildern gesteigert. Die biomedizinische Bildverarbeitung ist in vielen Aspekten vergleichbar mit der biomedizinischen Signalverarbeitung. Sie umfasst die Analyse, Verbesserung und Darstellung von Fotos, die mittels Röntgen, Ultraschall, Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT), Nuklearmedizin und visuellen Bildgebungstechnologien gesammelt wurden. NIC entwickelt sich derzeit schnell in vielen wissenschaftlichen und technologischen Forschungsbereichen, einschließlich der biomedizinischen Wissenschaften. In dieser Hinsicht könnten naturinspirierte Optimierungsalgorithmen eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Bewältigung der vielfältigen Elemente des Gesundheitswesens spielen. Forscher, Gesundheitspolitiker, Ärzte und andere Interessierte könnten die Erkenntnisse unseres Kapitels nutzen, um die Forschung und Entwicklung für die Operationalisierung von KI im Falle zukünftiger Pandemien besser zu priorisieren.
