Simulation of 3D digital design of clothing fabrics based on optical imaging detection and image acquisition

Abstract

With the rapid development of fashion industry, the requirements for the design and manufacture of clothing fabrics are getting higher and higher. The traditional fabric design method has the problems of long time consumption, high cost and difficult evaluation, so it is necessary to introduce new technologies to improve the fabric design process. Based on optical imaging technology and big data intelligence, this study aims to develop a new method to realize 3D digital design of clothing fabrics, so as to improve design efficiency and quality. In this paper, optical imaging technology is used to scan and measure different types of fabrics with high precision, and the texture and color information of fabrics are obtained. Then the obtained data are processed and analyzed, and combined with big data technology, a three-dimensional digital model of fabric is established. Finally, computer-aided design software is used for simulation and adjustment to further improve the design effect of fabrics. The experimental results show that this method can effectively transform the physical characteristics of fabrics into digital models and realize the personalized design of fabrics. This method can also significantly improve the design efficiency and quality, making the fabric design process faster and more accurate.
