Zusammenfassung

„Das Anwendungsfeld Sport-Coaching unterscheidet sich klar von den übrigen Anwendungsfeldern. Das Milieu des aktuellen Handlungsumfeldes ist klar umgrenzt: Sport. Das „Coaching“ im Sport konzentriert sich in erster Linie auf die körperlichen und technischen Aspekte – und damit auf das klassische Training –, ein zweiter Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Psyche der Sportler. „Mental toughness“ ist dabei ein zentrales erfolgskritisches Element, das Leistungssportler benötigen, um sich in einem hochgradig kompetitiven Umfeld durchzusetzen. Weitere wichtige Themen sind Motivation und Gewaltprävention. Für die vorliegende Systematisierung wurden nur Studien verwendet, die sich mit diesen psychologischen Aspekten des sportlichen Trainings befassten. Teilnehmer der Studien waren einerseits Sportler, andererseits Coaches und Trainer. Das den einzelnen Untersuchungen zugrunde liegende Leistungsniveau bewegte sich zwischen Schul- und Elitesport.“
