Stability conditions and far field patterns of two mutual injection locked fiber lasers

Abstract

According to the rate equations, we test the stability of two mutual injection locked fiber lasers, and find that the system can be stably phase-locked with a certain mutual coupling coefficient and a certain phase difference restricted by prescribed conditions. The far field patterns of the interference fringes obtained by coherent beam combining of the two stably phase-locked lasers have been simulated. The desired patterns of the interference fringes can be obtained by adjusting some relevant parameters.
