Strategic decision-making determines the long-term success of organisations. In fast-paced environments, managers need support and direction to make the right decisions. But what should strategic decision-making focus on to ensure long-term success? And what are the key dimensions that need to be considered as guidance? In analysing and discussing current research, the present chapter outlines, that the concepts of strategy, innovation, and leadership, form boundaries to support decision-making. In discussing these boundaries, the chapter further clarifies the interfaces between each of the concepts to provide strategic decision-makers with a focus on what to consider when leveraging the independent concepts towards success. Accordingly, implications for practice are provided. …
