Abstract

At present, solving the fundamental problem of management, which consists in creation of favorable conditions of company’s functioning and achievement of maximum effective results of its activities is reached by means of creating the strategy of development. In the conditions of market economy, development and implementation of the strategy is an important element of successful functioning of the Russian industrial companies. However, analysis of the theory and practice of formation and implementation of strategic plans shows that enterprises of the machine building sphere lack the methodological tools which contains the rational methodology, model, and algorithm of development and implementation of the company’s strategy. In particular, the Russian Federation has not federal legal acts and documents that contain methodological recommendations and orders for formation and implementation of the strategies of development of industrial enterprises. Thus, studying the directions and tendencies of strategic development of the Russian machine building enterprises is very interesting.
