Abstract

This paper describes a remote lab, currently available on the Department of Control Systems and Computer Science in ITMO University. The remote lab allows students with disabilities to gain knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Control Theory, Systems Identification and etc. In this paper the developed laboratory setup for DC motor control is described. The paper shows the model of DC motor and designing the proportional-integral-differential controller tuned using Ziegler-Nichols and modal control approaches.
