Abstract

This article examines the most promising concepts for reducing the temperature and the volume of outgoing gases. Results are presented from modeling performed in a laboratory on a pilot heat exchanger with an adequate heat-exchange area and low static resistance. The equipment and design of the pilot unit are described and test results are presented.
