The Role of Strategic Leadership in Improving Business Performance (The Implementation Case of Metaverse Oriented Health Safety Environment/HSE)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of strategic leadership in encouraging business performance improvements in oil companies that utilize the Metaverse implementation. Businesses with metaverse experiences are now here to create the ability to teleport from one business process experience to another. Companies must find ways to connect their online platforms to each other in order to operate more efficiently and effectively. This study is descriptive qualitative research whose data collection was carried out through interviews and independent interviews with participants. The companies studied are companies that had implemented metaverse, especially for the HSE sector in Jakarta. Researchers visit to the company's location and conducted open interviews with unstructured and non-standard questions. Interviews were conducted more than once with a certain schedule that was strictly followed. The results of the study explain that metaverse is needed in the HSE simulation in oil companies to reduce the accident rate so that it can have an impact on improving the company's business performance. All of them require a visionary strategic leadership role.
