The empirical correlation study shows that almost all types of learning styles have, more or less, positive or negative correlation with the academic achievement of computer-assisted English autonomous Learning. Only tactile learning style has no any correlations with language achievement at the significant level. This result implies that the tactile learning potential of college students is seriously ignored in computer-assisted English autonomous Learning. Based on the research findings, this essay discusses the possible reasons and gives some suggestions to English learners, English teachers, the university and technical workers.
