Mercedes-Benz has announced the development of a global high-power fast-charging network in North America, Europe, China and other core markets. According to the company, construction of the first charging parks will begin in the USA and Canada before the end of 2023. By 2027, a total of more than 400 charging parks with more than 2500 high-power chargers with up to 350 kW charging capacity are to be built there. The aim is to complete the entire network of 10,000 charging stations by the end of the decade. The sites are to be built in major cities and metropolitan areas near main traffic arteries and convenient retail and service locations, including participating Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
