Zusammenfassung

Die Wandlungsfähigkeit von Unternehmen ist für den langfristigen Erfolg in dynamischen Märkten essenziell. Die rasant fortschreitende Digitalisierung sowie weitere technologische Neuerungen bedingen es, dass auch heute hoch erfolgreiche Unternehmen in der Lage sein müssen, sich permanent wandelnden Gegebenheiten anpassen zu können. Der vorliegende Beitrag zeigt, dass Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Unternehmen die Möglichkeit bietet, in ihre Wandlungs- und Anpassungsfähigkeit zu investieren. Zugrunde liegt dem das Argument, dass ein gutes CSR-Image, also die Wahrnehmung eines Unternehmens als verantwortlich, die Identifikation der Mitarbeitenden mit ihrem Arbeitgeber erhöht, infolgedessen selbige ein gesteigertes Interesse am Erfolg ihres Unternehmens haben. Letzteres manifestiert sich dabei in Form von verbesserten arbeitsrelevanten Einstellungen und Verhaltensweisen am Arbeitsplatz. Ausgehend hiervon wird argumentiert, dass Unternehmen mit einem guten CSR-Image in die Veränderungsbereitschaft ihrer Mitarbeitenden einzahlen. Vor dem Hintergrund, dass unternehmerischer Wandel häufig an internen Widerständen scheitert, ist ein gutes CSR-Image für Unternehmen heute wichtiger denn je.
